LAZERMaster LZM-100 Laser Splicing System
AFL LZM-100 is a glass processing and welding system that uses a CO₂ laser heat source instead of electrodes, ensuring consistent performance and low maintenance requirements, thus eliminating issues related to electrode or filament maintenance and stability. Welding or adiabatic fiber pull-back (for creating mode-field adapters or pump couplers) can be performed on glass diameters up to 2.3 mm. The high-resolution optical analysis system works in conjunction with integrated software, enabling full automation of welding, pull-back, and other glass-forming processes.
