Fujikura 100S Kit

The latest fusion splicer 100S+ is designed for splicing optical trunk cables and uses active core alignment technology. The 100S model features real-time ARC power control (AFCT technology), ensuring precise splicing even for fibers with large cleave angles — without additional optical loss at the splice point.

The V-groove fiber guide simplifies fiber insertion for splicing, making the process much easier and faster. The expanded fiber positioning tolerance allows splicing even when fibers are slightly offset from the electrode center.

Once the fibers are inserted, the WP wind protector automatically closes before splicing and reopens after completion. The WP cover features integrated LED illumination, eliminating the need for optical mirrors, simplifying maintenance, and removing the need for mirror replacement.

With the SS05 coating remover, two fibers can be stripped simultaneously, then both cleaved with the CT60 cleaver, and inserted together into the 100S. When the fibers are positioned, the fiber clamps close automatically, allowing the operator to work with both hands — increasing productivity by up to 20% compared to the previous model.

The electrodes have a long service life of around 6,000 splices and can be replaced manually without any tools. The splicer also features an ultra-fast, motorized heat shrink oven and a high-capacity battery supporting about 300 splices, including sleeve heating.

The 100S supports battery charging via standard portable power banks, ensuring reliability in case of unexpected power loss. It also includes built-in GPS functionality — automatically recording the work location for process tracking and theft protection.

Additional protection is provided by the “Splice+” mobile app, which allows you to lock the device and unlock it automatically when your smartphone is nearby. The app also enables easy control and firmware updates for the 100S.

The 100S fiber splicer comes with the CT60 fiber cleaver, an upgraded version of the CT50. It features an electric motor and wireless connection to the splicer. Based on the fiber’s cleave angle and profile, the machine can detect blade wear and automatically rotate the blade to a new position — no operator intervention needed.

The CT60 design eliminates height adjustment, ensuring greater cleave angle accuracy and stability. To maintain overall durability, the number of blade positions has been increased to 28, and it now includes a blade arm angle adjustment function, making it convenient to use both on a table or handheld in various working environments.
